STORE APP QUICKVIEW
The Windows client store app allows users to purchase and download games and apps. Our team was thinking of new ways on how users can land on the app and optimize the user journey and flow.
My role
This was a team effort for different areas of the project, but my focus area was to make it easier for users to access information and make purchases without having to navigate directly to the product details page.
CONCEPTING: There was a feature we already knew we wanted - a quick view that would provide a simple way to access product detail information without having to load a new page. I created two different concepts that achieved this goal. One with a modal popup and the other being a slide out panel.
THE RESULT: In showcasing these two ideas, we all agreed that a slide out was a much better experience because it allows for an elegant way to present information without feeling like a popup.
